Data Deletion Requests
Last updated: September 13, 2026
1. Who This Page Is For
This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from Adsidian. It applies to:
- Adsidian users — agency staff and other people with an account on the platform.
- People whose data Adsidian processes on an agency's behalf — end customers and leads whose information reaches us through a connected CRM or website.
- People who connected a Facebook or Instagram account to Adsidian, or whose data was retrieved from Meta as a result of that connection.
2. How to Request Deletion
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request". Include:
- The email address on your Adsidian account.
- If your request relates to a connected Facebook or Instagram account: the Facebook name or Business Portfolio you used to connect it, so we can locate the right records.
Agency admins can also delete their own stored Meta access token immediately, without waiting on us: go to Settings → Integrations → Meta and choose Disconnect. This deletes the stored access token right away.
We confirm receipt of every deletion request within 5 business days, complete deletion within 30 days, and send you an email when it's done.
3. What Gets Deleted
- Your account and profile data.
- Stored Meta access tokens.
- Campaign, ad, and performance data synced from Meta ad accounts.
- Lead-form submissions retrieved from Meta.
- Prism event data tied to the requester.
- CRM-synced records.
Two exceptions: aggregate, de-identified statistics derived from this data may be retained, and data we're required to keep for legal or billing reasons (such as invoices) is retained only for that required period.
4. Data Obtained From Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
When an agency connects a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) account to Adsidian, we receive ad-account, page, campaign, and performance data, plus an access token that lets us manage campaigns on that account's behalf.
- Disconnecting the integration in Adsidian deletes the stored access token immediately.
- The data synced from Meta while connected is deleted along with your account, or on request as described above.
- You can also remove Adsidian's access directly from Facebook: go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and Websites) and remove Adsidian. This revokes the token on Meta's side immediately. You can then email us to request deletion of any data already synced to Adsidian.
5. If You're an End Customer of One of Our Agency Clients
For data collected on behalf of one of our agency customers, Adsidian acts as a processor and that agency is the controller — see our Privacy Policy. You can direct your deletion request to that agency directly, or email us at the address above and we'll forward your request to the controller and act on their instruction.
